ButterflyMom (butterflymom.in) is an online shop featuring handmade products from young creators. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

Account: name, email address, phone number, and password (stored securely hashed).

Orders: shipping name, address, pin code, state, phone number, and payment status (payment card details are handled by Razorpay — we do not store them).

Technical: basic server logs (IP address, browser type) for security and fraud prevention.

To create and manage your account, process orders, deliver products, and send transactional emails (order confirmation, shipping updates, password reset, email verification).

To comply with tax and accounting requirements (GST invoices and records).

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Sensitive fields such as email and phone numbers are encrypted in our database. Secrets and payment keys are stored securely on our servers, not in the website code.

We use HTTPS in production and restrict access to customer data to authorised administrators only.

You may update your name and phone number in Account settings. To delete your account or request a copy of your data, contact us at the email on our Contact page.

You may opt out of non-essential marketing emails (we currently send only transactional messages).

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and to secure your session. We do not use advertising cookies on the storefront.
